# aiomics

> aiomics turns every document a hospital receives — faxes, PDFs, referrals, lab feeds, dictation — into structured and quality-assured data, and on that foundation runs the administrative work that keeps the hospital running: admission management, discharge letters, coding completeness, payer dialogue, regulatory compliance.

aiomics is a clinical data intelligence platform for hospitals and rehabilitation clinics in the DACH region, typically 100–500 beds, with early engagements in Switzerland and Sweden. It operates as a verification and workflow layer on top of existing hospital IT systems, not as a replacement for them.

**Core capability.** Every incoming document type a hospital receives — referrals, faxes, PDFs, laboratory feeds, scans, hardcopies, dictation — is read, structured, and verified against the existing patient record through an adversarial multi-agent protocol: two independent models propose an answer, a critic audits every statement against the source document and penalises any claim without explicit citation, an arbiter resolves the result. Conclusions are traceable to source.

**How it differs from AI scribes and extraction tools.** Scribes capture one modality (voice) and produce a single-pass note. Extraction tools pull fields without checking them. aiomics works across every document type a hospital handles, and every piece of information is independently verified against the existing patient record. Others generate; aiomics verifies.

**Who it is for.** Three decision-makers: the Chefarzt (hours returned to clinical work), the CFO (revenue captured through complete coding and stronger payer audit defence), the CIO and Justiziariat (fits the existing IT landscape, meets governance requirements, produces an auditable provenance trail).

**Regulatory posture.** Deliberately positioned outside MDR Rule 11 as an administrative data layer. Every feature is screened against MDCG 2019-11 before development begins. The quality management system follows ISO 13485 principles voluntarily. A formal AI management system and AI policy are in place, personally established and led by the founders.

**Data sovereignty.** All processing takes place inside the European Union under GDPR and applicable national and regional law. Hospitals retain full ownership of input and output data with standard export formats.

**Interoperability.** KIS-agnostic. Integrates via HL7 v2 and FHIR R4 for hospital information systems, LDT 3.0 for laboratory feeds, ICD-10-GM for diagnoses, OPS for procedures, LOINC for laboratory data, and UCUM for units.
