Fax, scan, PDF, dictation or questionnaire: the platform recognises the text on every page, assigns the document to the right case (a person confirms the match) and turns it into structured information.

A referral arrives by fax: a letter from the GP practice, a medication plan, a lab report. Aiomics recognises the text, assigns the pages to the case and records diagnoses, medication and lab values as structured information. The admissions team confirms the match.

The admission report reads ‘type 2 diabetes mellitus, on insulin’. One click opens the prior report at the passage the statement came from.

Check
For reports and physician letters, a separate review pass compares the draft with its sources. References that the sources do not support are removed, and the draft is written again. Short standard letters started from the boards (acceptance, rejection, requests for documents) get a reference check only.

A draft physician letter cites a lab report as the source for a pre-existing condition the report does not mention. The review pass removes that reference, and the draft is written again.

A physician or the responsible professional signs off every document, and can check any sourced statement against its source in one click.

A day with one case
A new patient arrives on the ward. Aiomics has read her referral and prior reports and sets out diagnoses, medication and lab values with their sources. Where two documents disagree, the platform flags the passage. The ward physician opens both and settles the question in the admission interview.
The patient needs to stay longer, and the insurer expects an extension request. Aiomics drafts the justification from the case documents and marks the information still missing. The senior physician adds the finding from the ward round and signs off the request.
Before the handover to the night shift, the ward team sees which drafts are signed off and which are still open. Open items stay visible, and the night shift carries on from the same point.
